Unawatuna Beach offers a good choice of diving schools and dive centres. Most of them are not PADI affiliated without certified lessons and courses. However, it pays to check out the company you are planning to dive with.
You can enjoy a perfect Unawatuna dive from mid October to end of April. During the rest of the year the the visibility isn't good enough.
